Programmer here. In computer science, prestige doesn’t matter. All you’d be doing is paying out the nose for a degree so you can have an entry level job. That’s assuming you could even afford the out of state tuition. Most people can’t. BYU already has a top notch CS program. It’s also a well recruited school from companies all over the country, with Salt Lake as a big tech hub city. I promise you won’t have a problem finding a job and a prosperous career. If I were you, I’d stay at BYU.
