<p>The average GPA of a 2012-2013 accepted Pitt freshman was a 3.93. Your 3.46 by comparison is much much lower. Also keep in mind that the SAT needs to be around 1200 minimum to get in (at least 600 per section). ECs help, but if neither the GPA or the SAT are there, they can’t do much to help you get in. You need either a high SAT to counteract the low GPA or a big GPA boost to counteract a lot SAT.</p>
