Congratulations to all transfers who have been accepted to USC this year! I would appreciate it if you could share some thoughts and offer your observation or advice on how to improve the chance of getting accepted to USC. I want to apply for transfer in the coming year.

Although holistic, does USC admissions place a greater emphasis on academics or on other aspects of the application such as essays, recommendations or ECs?

Does USC transfer application require letters of recommendation? It seems to me that some students were accepted without submitting college facultys recommendations.

If the major that you want to transfer into is impacted, will that affect your chance of getting accepted?

How is USCs financial aid for transfer students? Is there a large amount of loans in the finaid package? Are there any merit scholarships or grants?

Thank you very much for your help!
