<p>The one problem with SJSU is that they have a very different set of admission standards for in service area and out of service area applicants. If the OP applies from within the SJSU service area he probably does have a good chance of acceptance with 2.73 GPA but if he is out of their service area he would probably need something north of a 3.5 and would have a better chance of getting into one of the less competitive UCs.</p>
