<p>So if a transfer applicant with a 2.73 GPA applied to chemical engineering at SJSU for fall 2011, s/he would have been admitted, as the GPA threshold was 2.00. But if s/he applied to chemistry instead, where the GPA threshold was 3.00, s/he would have been admitted as undeclared if most of his/her units were from local colleges, or rejected if most of his/her units were from non-local colleges.</p>
