Transferring

I am a current freshman at Boston College’s CSOM and would like to tell you that the above poster is correct. My friend wants to transfer from Duke to Boston College CSOM because of some family difficulties, and has a 3.5 GPA at Duke. I talked to the Dean and he said that usually, Boston College aims at having a class of 480 freshman CSOM students, but this year 620 accepted their spots in CSOM. So if you want to come to Boston College, you will not be able to go to the Business School, however you can take up to 6 classes in the Business School from other colleges within the University.

You could study something like Math and Economics in the College of Arts and Science and if you chose you’re 6 CSOM classes wisely, would be taking close to the same courses that a regular Business student would take. You could also enroll in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development and double major in Applied Psychology and Human Development and be able to minor in a special minor in CSOM called “Management and Leadership” and take the same route as a Business education.
