<p>sewhappy- I looked into St John. It is expensive at Christmas. I was willing to consider it anyway but things were filling up. The place we are staying at in Belize is a “hotel” but the units are basically condo style with kitchens. The rate includes breakfast but it definitely is nice to not have to go out every meal.</p>
<p>TwoMules- I still have hopes that Maho will survive. I also was unclear (last time we were there) about whether the eco-cabins on the other side of St. John also owned by Maho might stay.</p>
