- TritonPlus Account. The signer, referred to herein as “Holder,” hereby activates a TritonPlus Account to be administered by the TritonPlus Account Office, referred to herein as “Office,” and by signing on reverse agrees to be legally bound by all terms and conditions set forth herein.</p>
<ol>
<li><p>Nature of Service. Office agrees to accept and hold for the benefit of Holder, and exclusively for the purposes described herein, funds deposited by Holder in an account maintained by Office and referred to herein as “TritonPlus Account.” Funds deposited by the Holder to TritonPlus Account shall be applied against amounts debited to Holder’s account for goods of sale accepting payment through the use of TritonPlus Account. HOLDER UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT TRITONPLUS ACCOUNT IS NOT A CREDIT CARD AND TRITONPLUS ACCOUNT MAY NOT BE USED TO OBTAIN CASH OR CASH ADVANCES. HOLDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PURCHASES MADE AGAINST HOLDER’S TRITONPLUS ACCOUNT EXCEPT AS OUTLINED IN LOST OR STOLEN CARDS (7).</p></li>
<li><p>Activating the Account. TritonPlus Account will be activated by Office for Holder one business day after receipt of an initial minimum deposit of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). Additional funds may be deposited at any time thereafter, with a minimum deposit of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), at the Revelle TritonPlus Account office, at any Dining Services location, or on the web at <a href=“http://www.onlinecardoffice.com/ucsd[/url]”>www.onlinecardoffice.com/ucsd</a>. There is no minimum balance required after the account is activated. Statements detailing activity in Holder’s TritonPlus Account will be available upon request. Statements will be available within twenty-four hours of request.</p></li>
<li><p>Locations. Holder’s TritonPlus Account may be used to purchase goods or services at any TritonPlus Account vendor location.</p></li>
<li><p>No Interest on Funds. Holder understands and agrees that no interest or other earnings will be paid to Holder or credited by Office or UCSD to Holder.</p></li>
<li><p>Use of TritonPlus Account. Holder must present his or her official Campus Card at the time of purchase in order to access funds held in Holder’s TritonPlus Account. The Account is non-transferable, and except as provided below, Holder is responsible for purchases made and debited to Holder’s Account. In order to prevent unauthorized use of Holder’s Campus Card, Office may require additional identification from any person attempting to make any purchase using Holder’s Account. There is no daily limit on the number of purchases that may be made and debited to the Account, provided total of purchases does not exceed funds in Holder’s TritonPlus Account at that time. Goods purchased and debited to a TritonPlus Account may be returned according to the return policies at the location where the purchase was made, if such a return is permitted. Holder’s TritonPlus Account will be credited for the appropriate amount. Holder understands and agrees that no cash refunds or withdrawals may be made.</p></li>
<li><p>Lost or Stolen Campus Cards. Holder shall immediately report a lost or stolen Campus Card to the Office or online at our website: hds.ucsd.edu/tritonplusaccount. Telephone notification must be confirmed promptly by Holder in writing or in person. Holder is responsible and shall bear the risk of up to $50.00 in purchases made and debited to Holder’s Account prior to proper notification. A $15.00 replacement charge (subject to change) is assessed for a lost, stolen, or damaged
Campus Card.</p></li>
<li><p>Promotions. Holder understands that all TritonPlus Account promotions and specials are subject to change without notice.</p></li>
<li><p>Closing TritonPlus Account. At any time, Holder may close Account and obtain the balance held in Account by completing the appropriate form at the Office. A check will be issued to Holder or credit issued to credit card account for the amount of the balance. Inactive accounts are those accounts not used for one calendar year. At the end of one year, Office will attempt to notify Holder of any remaining balance over $15.00. If Holder responds to notification, a check or credit card credit will be issued. If Office receives no response, inactive accounts will be charged a monthly maintenance fee of $5.00 and will be automatically closed when a zero balance is reached. If Holder elects to open another TritonPlus Account after closure of previous Account, Holder will be required to enter into a new TritonPlus Account agreement.</p></li>
<li><p>Effective Date of Agreement. These terms and conditions shall be in effect from the date hereof until the Account is closed.</p></li>
<li><p>Governing Law. These terms and conditions shall be governed in all respects by and construed in accordance with the University policies and procedures.</p></li>
<li><p>TritonPlus Account Office. The TritonPlus Account Office is located in Revelle College, on the first floor of Blake Hall, east of Plaza Cafe. *</p></li>
