<p>I’ve always found it interesting that Liberals always stereotype people (despite their insistence that nobody else do the same) according to their region. People in the south are closed-minded christians who hate gays and are ignorant and uncivilized. Naturally people on the west coast rank up there with New England as far as how far civilization has come. Speaking as someone who has grown up amongst a lopsided political region (Portland, OR) I can say that I CAN see how far civilization has gone… it just hasn’t gotten better…</p>
<p>The midwest in many minds is a locale of cowboys and indians still. People think of John Wayne and saloons when you mention the midwest. Pathetic.</p>
