@itsgettingreal17 Agree. Back in the 1980s, University of Michigan faced serious financial challenges as the state slashed funding. There were all sorts of dire predictions. Fast forward to today, and the university is in good health despite continuing cuts to state aid. It has also massively increased its endowment, which has enabled it to improve financial aid to the point that it is now one of the few public universities that undertakes to meet the full demonstrated need of OOS students with EFCs below a certain level. So it can be done.
