<p>My daughter was accepted during early action and was also accepted into the honors program. She was awarded a dean’s scholarship as well. </p>
<p>From what I can gather, the top 10 % are addmitted to the honors program. If there are approximately 3000 incoming freshman then that means approx. 300 in honors program. </p>
<p>I also gather that there are approximately 100 trustee scholarships awared to the TOP applicants which I assume would come from that pool of 300 honor students – correct?? </p>
<p>What I don’t understand is how they can determine in December (for the early action applicants) if they will be in that top % to receive the trustee scholarship. I would think that they would need to have evaluated and accepted ALL of the students before determining who the very top ones are for the trustee scholarship. </p>
<p>Any info that can be shared is greatly appreciated. Trying to determine if she is still in running for Trustee scholarship.</p>
