<p>The Trustee was awarded to 25 of the 38,000 applicants last year. I don’t know about this year, but my son got the top Dean’s scholarship and the Honors program EA in December, and then got a letter in March letting him know he’d gotten the Trustees. </p>
<p>You can try calling if you want, but I know I did last year (he was weighing several full scholarships) and I got a different answer every time.</p>
<p>In his case, although he was admitted EA, he was awarded the Trustees with the RD admission decisions. </p>
<p>Trustees isn’t necessarily offered to the “top 25 students”. All of these kids in honors are outstanding students. Many are National Merit Finalists/Scholars and their scores are all pretty similar. The Trustees is usually offered to students who have done something that is particularly noteworthy. </p>
