<p>HImom, we did sell over the Christmas holidays last December. Got rid of the listing agent, who we stuck with for over a year, and put out a FSBO sign. Lowered the price, of course, and received 2 offers within a week. My husband is convinced that FSBO is the way to go now… we could control all of the showings and make sure correct information was given when questions were asked. After reading all of the rude “feedback” we were subjected to for the prior year I too am sold on FSBO. </p>
<p>But FWIW we tried candles and no candles… none of that really made a difference in the feedback comments as far as we could tell!</p>
