<p>I’m still not quite clear what the op was told-- an admit/deny/WL decision? A confirmation they’d applied? A FA question? Does seem very strange. On the other hand, the Hotchkiss coach’s messages also seem to overstep the boundaries, at least according to what we were told last year-- that coaches, etc. were not to contact you with admissions info between the application deadline and March 10th, although they could talk to you and recruit both before and after these dates.</p>
