tufts admissions questions

Hi Abkid,

Every ED applicant will have one of three decisions: admit, defer, or deny. Admit is good (yay!), defer is less good (…), deny is least good (avert your eyes!). Deferred students have their application reviewed anew in the context of the regular decision pool. So even if one is not offered admission, a deferred student will be reconsidered later on. The process for denied students is over, and those students will not be looked at again.

Abkid, you can’t do anything about this now, but this may be of service to others else: part of the reason we offer a second round of Early Decision with a later deadline is to give students extra time, if needed, to bring their application together. Students that plan to take, or retake, their testing in December are served by applying ED2.
