Tufts Class of 2028 Official Thread

You‘d be surprised at how many Universities don’t tell applicants when they’re releasing. I didn’t get a notification for Harvard or Northeastern even when the update was posted; I and other applicants had to guess when it was coming out!

yes but tufts specifically usually announces ahead of time

I think the window for an 11-day notice period, as with last year, has definitely passed. Otherwise that would put the decision date at Saturday, March 30. That seems extremely unlikely to me.

I don’ know if it’ll be the 19th or 26th, but the 30th seems way too late.

Access denied.

Same here.
But why there is jumbomonth2023 in the URL? It normally should be 2024 no?

I just tried with 2024 instead of 2023 and it said “portal is inactive”

D24 (admitted ED1) received an email this afternoon about Jumbo days:

Our in-person admitted student open houses will include opportunities to attend mock classes, eat in a dining hall, hear from campus administrators, and interact with current students. Jumbo Days will take place on the Medford campus on April 5th, April 12th, and April 26th from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST.

Students admitted to the BFA and 5-Year Combined Degree program with the School of Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) at Tufts are welcome to attend any of the three days, but we will provide specialized SMFA programming on April 5th.

Registration for Jumbo Days and Jumbo Month is not yet open. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for an update from our office later this month.

Please note that there is a limit on the number of attendees we can accommodate for each Jumbo Day. Therefore, please refrain from booking travel until you have successfully registered for Jumbo Days.** If a Jumbo Day is full, we cannot allow additional registrants, even if you have already booked accommodations.

And, of course, Jumbo Days is entirely optional. All enrolling students will receive information regarding advising, pre-matriculation credits, housing, orientation and pre-orientation starting in May.
