Yes, I’m a BFA applicant. Here’s what the letter said: Thank you for applying to Tufts University and we appreciated the opportunity to learn more about you and your art practice. The admissions committee has completed its decision process for students who applied to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program at Tufts. While the majority of the applicant pool will be informed of their decision next week, BFA candidates will receive their notification tomorrow evening.
Decisions will be released at 7:00 PM EST on Thursday, March 19 and can be accessed via your Applicant Status Page.
I wonder if this includes the BFA + BS/BA 5 year program?
@animate2002 Does BFA include the music field or just studio art? As in a performance music major?
@KrazyKid5 I am an animation major, so it’s possible that this is only for that program. Did you receive the prior email saying you’d be notified by next week? I did not. I only got this one. So this may only apply to students who applied to Tufts SMFA.
@animate2002 Thanks, I did receive the prior email about the decision date and I believe (based on Tufts website) that performance music falls under a different program.

I have a friend who similarly still has not received his email.
Also about the “waves” of emails, just to see some correlation, I received my email in the first waves and applied to the school of arts and sciences. Anyone else have a similar situation?
Another friend of mine got his email in the second wave as a school of engineering applicant
any hints on Tufts acceptance from past trends?

There seems to be no similar trends. But a lot of people didn’t follow up with their decisions so I couldn’t piece together anything of value. Also they didn’t do the email thing last year.
