tuition

preemed,
I was just trying to figure that out today to determine if the tuition stabilization plan is worth the additional $1000 per semester. Supposedly there is a link to the NYU Bursar’s office for 2010-2011 tuition and fees, but it does not work. I finally called the Bursar’s directly and was told they do not know what the tuition and fees are for 2010-2011 yet. And this is expected to be made public when the tuition bills go out in July.

Working backwards a little for CAS, I found out tuition and fees for:

2008-2009 was $18,686 (17,615 for tuition and 1071 for registration fees) per semester.

2009-2010 was $19,382.50 (18,293 for tuition and 1089.50 for registration fees) per semester.

So estimating here that 2010-2011 tuition and registration fees will be a little over $20,000 per semester (looks like it should be over $700 increase from 2009-2010). Total “a little” over $40,000 for the academic year for tuition and registration fees (this does not include housing, meals and other costs).

However, final figures will have to be determined when the Bursar’s Office comes out with official #s (in July?).

Oops, looks like a current student might have gotten this information?
