@yoelijah, tell them that! Let them know that you will definitely commit if you are admitted off the waitlist. At the same time, please realize that, even though you “fell in love” with Tulane, there are many, many schools in the country where you will fit in and have the ability to realize all of your dreams if you work hard. This is not the time to be resentful against Tulane, nor s it a time to feel helpless. I would read Jeff Schiffman’s blog on what to do if waitlisted (http://tuadmissionjeff.blogspot.com/2012/03/waitlist-now-what.html?m=1), and also find another school that appeals to you and that you can get excited about. Keep your chin up, be true to yourself, and you will have an amazing life!
