I feel extremely lucky just to have been admitted, and I feel honored because I know that I have the chance to attend UCLA, which is the dream of so many other students. That’s the reason why it’s so hard to turn it down. It’s also, though, hard to turn down my $25,000/year scholarship and honors college offer from Tulane, because that’s very flattering. I just don’t know what to do. Both options have so many pros and not a lot of cons, and I know it will be very difficult to turn either one of them down.
