Same here. But daughter is going for the second weekend. Write to them and ask if there is a chance that can be decided in time for the first weekend. I think they are trying to interview top candidates on the first round.
Received an interview invite email around 2 hours ago - not sure what the distinction between those who received emails and those who did not is.
@ccEBD123 congrats!
So, we know there are people who got interviews and those who are “deferred.” Did they reject anyone? It sucks to have to wait around for three weeks. Costwise, only regional candidates could do that. Imagine the cost of airfares at the last minute!
@TwoFabKids Thanks! It’s a bit bittersweet though, because I know that there are students who worked just as hard or even harder than me who will not be able to interview simply because they have conflicts with the second interview date and cannot interview during the first Honors Weekend because of when their decisions will be announced.

Well, this whole coronavirus thing is really doing a number on my college visit/interview/Honors Weekend plans… Anyone else still planning on interviewing in-person, or is everyone who received an invitation to interview just going to do the video chat interview?
You should check with the TPM Coordinator. I’m pretty sure Tulane SOM will seriously consider Skype, but if its rules say “only in person,” then they may cancel or postpone. U of Pittsburgh has just announced postponement of their GAP BSMD interview til Sep this year. That means any GAP candidates who still want to be interviewed would have to take a chance and enroll at Pitt for 2020-2021.
@junebug20 They sent an email out yesterday stating that they would allow in-person or online interviews. I responded that I would go in-person, but I’m rethinking that choice now, especially after my school district extended spring break for another week and is considering going to online classes. Not sure how exactly to phrase the email saying that I changed my mind a day later (although I’m sure they’ll understand, given how rapidly the situation is changing).
Don’t read too much into it. These are unprecedented times. They should be fine with it. Just make sure that you let them know in plenty of time because they have to schedule interviewers. It’s harder to schedule people when you mix two types of interviews.
