<p>At our house the “giblets” go in the garbage can. I won’t feed giblet gravy to a dog partly because I don’t have a dog. I do have several cats and they don’t like the giblets and if they do eat some you would not want to observe the consequences.</p>

<p>While living down south, we had the opportunity to try a fried turkey. It was fantastic; crisp on the outside and very moist on the inside. It is not oily inside. We immediately went out and purchased a fryer pot and use it for all our turkeys now.</p>

I did see that you can now by a frozen already fried turkey. No idea how that will taste but it would take some of the “drama” out of Thanksgiving.</p>
