<p>reign- They’re not as bad as some stories make them seem, but I wouldn’t want to live in one. My current roommate lived in Kellum last year and he said it was pretty bad. Aside from that though he didn’t really say what was so bad.
Something a lot of people don’t think of is that community dorm bathrooms are cleaned a hell of a lot more frequently than suite-style dorms, unless a suite-style resident cleans them regularly. </p>
<p>david- If you’re a person that is going to get a meal plan anyway, then I would say an east-side dorm is probably a good idea. I’m with Matt on this one, if I was in your shoes I’d probably go with Cawthon ;). Then I’d have Broward, Gilchrist, and Landis among my choices.
Keep in mind though that a lot of the Math and Physics classes aren’t going to be on that side of campus though. They’re likely going to be on the west side near Salley, Smith and Kellum, but I do not really recommend those dorms.</p>
