<p>Yale has the stronger undergraduate program, overall. David Brooks, a UChicago alumnus and one of the most famous and influential commentators and authors in the country, wrote in a high-profile article that, despite his allegiance to UChicago, he believes Yale is the nation’s strongest university for undergraduate education. </p>
<p>Obviously, like Yale, Chicago has a number of well-known professors and its economics department has historically been very strong (when tracked over the past 50 years, second only to Yale).</p>
