What is your class rank?
Most of the scholarships that are not for Ct residents are looking for students who are graduating at the top of their class.

If you look at Uconn’s Common Data Set you will see that the 75th percentile for the ACT, you will see a score of 30, 31, 30. Even then a third of the class is presenting ACT scores of 30 or above .

I am willing to bet to get merit money your scores will have to be well over 30 in addition to being ranked at the top of your class to have a shot at merit $$
