U of C courts Common App

<p>i don’t see any difference between the basic parts of uncommon app and common app. many schools ask for a supplement for the same essays. i can’t really understand why the uncommon app is so exaggerated.</p>

<p>Chicago may even go so far as to say they will not read the common app essays, so if you are applying EA and want more time on those essays for other colleges, no need to rush them for UChicago. If UC makes this change to the CA, that leaves Brown, Columbia, Stanford, MIT, and Georgetown as the top privates who don’t use the Common App. UC is not that uncommon for not using the common app, so why do they get all the recognition for a unique app?</p>
