I think that’s a pretty blanket statement. I’ve met some stubborn liberals and stubborn conservatives, and then I’ve met people on both sides who are ready to listen to any other opinion (though that’s unlikely to sway their opinion). I’m not particularly intolerant of political orientations per se, just some of the reasoning behind them. If you’ve arrived at a conservative viewpoint after careful analysis, then good for you, I’m more than willing to what you have to say, because you have evidence to support it. If, however, you pick your political orientation because your religion tells you to hate gays or that global warming is impossible because God made the Earth (… however, by this logic God made you too, but if you treat your body like , you’re going to get fat and diseased, sorry), because foreign stuff is just evil, even though that imported good has to be inspected by your own people even before it gets into your country, or that Islam is inherently evil, that type of bull that I’ve heard hundreds of times… just overall hysteria and nonsense, I’m not cool with. If you have evidence and legit reasoning and are willing to hear what others have to say, you’ll be able to elaborate on your opinion no matter where you are.

…Better than to be Sarah Palin. Even my fascist friend thinks she’s an idiot.
