Anyone else’s Self Service Portal Change? When DS logs in with VIP ID we have an admissions tab now. This is the way you could tell 2 years ago.

How did you get a password to go with vip if for the log in?

Got the email about setting it up awhile ago. Used VIP ID from backdoor page.
If you didn’t get email, go here and click Account Claiming. You will need your VIP ID from backdoor page. My SC - IAMSC
Just from past threads, if you had this you got in. You didn’t have it. You didn’t.

Not showing here. For those who can log in to Self Service and see the admissions tab - what do the two portals say? ie submittedawaiting decision or something else?

I can’t see the tab either. At least now I’ll mentally prepare for a destroyed senior this afternoon. He had all his hopes on this ones, and on paper had all the criteria to get in and then some…
Welp, we don’t have the tab either. Only Personal Information and Financial Aid.
Funny thing is my son was accepted in EA and we didn’t have the financial aid tab until recently.
Did he have the admissions tab?
So sorry to hear that for you and your senior. This is such a stressful and challenging process. This was/is definitely a contender on our side but she has some great options.
It is just a tough process - if the astrology holds - from receiving an email stating “Your outstanding high school achievements caught our attention, and we think you might be a great fit for our [Honors College]” to a denial of admission is challenging to process. Hard to keep grounded in such a case.

I’m trying to log into this back door portal but i don’t have the VIP id or i’m not sure how to find this. Also cannot find my usc network name/id. Any help?
I was here 2 years ago with my older son. He was WL. But the WL moves at UofSC and it moves before May. All hope is not lost!
