@OHMomof2 What makes you prefer Lyft over Uber?
Wow–that is a significant discount, especially off some car models! Glad you’re enjoying your driving.
@doschicos - slightly higher minimum fare, cooler people, tipping in app (which about half of Lyft passengers do, Uber is more like 1 in 10).
Lyft also has incentives, if you drive a certain amount they take a smaller %. I haven’t driven that amount but it’s there if I wanted to drive more often.
Good to know about Lyft. I like being able to tip in the app. We just got Lyft here and I haven’t used it yet. I will give it a try next time the opportunity arises.
Well if I may, @1or2Musicians - enter this promo code to get your first 3 rides free (or $5 off each up to $15) COLLEGECON

Lyft is also more interactive. They send drivers calendars about big events going on around town etc. Just a friendlier vibe.
And the fight continues with a new twist: patent infringement in addition to plain IP theft.

Uber is now forcing Seattle drivers to listen to anti-union podcasts before driving:
If Uber continues on its path of bone-headed moves and bad PR, it could easily find itself irrelevant. I don’t see a lot of barriers to entry in this business and would think consumers will be quick to shift to any competitor with the right combination of good pricing and better management/optics.
Short tenure!
Uber short. B-)
Haha. I’ve always resented how the company has co-opted the use of that word. Nicely done.
