UC admission rate by major

Probably one of the UC-recalculated HS GPAs is used. Although most UC web sites use the weighted-capped version, it appears that the UCSB one at New Freshmen Profile | Office of Budget & Planning uses the fully weighted one, with 37% at 4.40 or higher, which seems unlikely for the weighted-capped HS GPA – to get a 4.40 weighted-capped HS GPA, the 10th-11th grade would have to have only 20 semesters (or 5 year-long courses each year) of a-g courses with at least 8 semesters of honors, with all A grades.
