For computer science, the question for people choosing a major now (assuming they are factoring in earnings data like this), is what will it look like 4,5,6 years from now when they are in the job market given the advancement of AI and other factors that could shrink the sector. Nursing seems less likely to see significant change for the negative. I’m not sure how much data on current computer science alums can be relied on for potential future ones.
