My application is solid and my essays, I think, are pretty amazing. I didn’t procrastinate and put a ton of energy into them and when all is said and done, I’m happy they’re done. I just would have rather been able to concentrate on calculus (and my other six classes…) rather than stressing over an application, when really I could have finished them over a break with no classes.
I posted a comment on the UC Facebook and a few people responded saying “had I known I would have made my personal statement better!” or similar messages. That isn’t where I stand at all, just would have rather not dealt with them going as we head into finals week.
BUT … it’s done and it’s over, and I’m glad I don’t have to worry about them.
And my personal statements are amazing.
