Does anyone know if a person like @kotokote, who is rejected by UCSB and UCLA, has been accepted to UCB? I find myself in a similar predicament, but I have to admit that my transfer essay revolved around a major that was not offered at any of the given schools.
@DreamsShattering Don’t be too upset! As I said in my post your personal ethic raises your academic achievement. I understand that not receiving the honors recognition absolutely sucks, but keep in mind your amazing achievement and your strong work ethic. This is what will continue to shine as your continue your academic success hopefully to grad school!
I cannot speak for any other school. but for my person statements I declared public health as my major, and I still got admitted to UCLA for physiological sciences. The only reason why I believe I did get in was because I did put the word “physiology” in the essay, but not to any significant extent.
Best of luck, best thing you can do is wait it out; nothing you can do at this point.

I am interested as to the majors you all are transferring into! Could you inform us as to your major and possibly a creer goal? Mine is MCB- biochemistry emphasis and I hope to work at NASA as an astrobiologist

@KiwiJuice That’s awesome! I hear Rhetoric is challenging to get into for those who do not want to compete with English or Philosophy majors. I hope you get in! Law school wont be too far down the road, don’t forget about the LSAT! prepare for it your senior year.
