UC Berkeley 2025 Portal Astrology Discussion

I think that you probably got a new ID. I believe that my sister who got in early was able to sign in with her MAP account even in February. I would say probably around 80% chance that you get in with all this evidence.

Wb me, I was admitted to ATDP in January 2023, and I have an ID.

you are good. look up berkeley sis and try to reset your password using campus solutions. If it doesn’t allow you to with the id you have, then it is not related to previous cal affiliations.

Follow what @WWEshav said.

It seems unlikely bc this method has been there for years

Reset my passoword here?

wondering the same thing, my friend applied to CED and hasn’t gotten an id yet. i haven’t seen anyone else from CED with or without it.

Last year’s was 46% forbidden vs 54% not authorized. Given the fact that last year’s poll was posted earlier (at 300 responses) when more not authorized people were around, these results seem to line up pretty well. Last year’s form also got half the responses of yours, so a slight variation in results is expected.

Another comment I found on last year’s thread also shows that at one point, 3/5ths of the people on the poll had forbidden, so there’s a quite a lot more proof here that these results are fine.

i’m worried because it seems everyone is getting it. at my school, there’s been like 10 kids with the portal. freaking out that they might do last min rejections

Are you instate at a public school?

yeah lmao. past years have about a 13 percent acceptance rate according to our data, which is over 45 kids, but i’m still spiraling lmao

Same for my school, don’t stress about it (I really should take my own advice though)!

45 kids is crazy! I’m OOS and we rarely even send a kid to Berkeley :sob:. We had two early admits this year though but I doubt they will even go!

instate is much easier, my school last year have around 50 admitted to UCB and around 60 for UCLA. Bay area public high.

keep asking people at your schools tomorrow and thursday! its super helpful to get numbers that aren’t from CC or reddit! also just a side note, looking on tik tok, there are WAY more comments saying they dont have the IDs, i do think the skew is hella strong on here

Given what I’ve observed at my school, I think the ID people will see some good news this Thursday!
