These majors were removed from the L&S list because they were moving schools and will be managed by CDSS. CDSS admits by major so there is no way to easily switch into these majors once admitted to L&S.
If itâs CDSS, I am assuming that it only includes Computer Science, Data Science, etcâŠ

LOL. All this is saying is that L&S High-Demand Major Major list was modified. That is because the CS/DS majors are no longer in L&S.
Yes, but Economics also may not be high-demand anymore. Could be because applicants were using Economics as a back door to CS/DS when they were all in L&S. UCB knows how many used to change from Economics to CS/DS.
my not as competitive school bay area school usually admits around 5 to berkeley out of 35 ish and i am the only one with the ID out of like 6 iâve asked will be asking more today

Anyone who took a summer class at UCB, would you know the difference between alumni page and student page? Otherwise portal astrology does not work as we already have an ID. Can we start a chat here for all in a similar situation?

I am asking as when I reset alumni, I get a msg that says data not found, but I am able to reset my student ID password.
that is so weird! everyone that ive seen has gotten ââYou are not eligible to use this passphrase reset feature or we do not have enough information about you in our system. Please contact CalNet, calnet@berkeley.edu, to have your CalNet passphrase reset.ââ when trying to reset. i did too? ive also only seen people able to change their alumni ID. i dont have one of those so im not sure! someone who knows more lmk
for those who participated in a cal affiliated program, is the alumni ID the same as the iD on the homepage?
its weird. ive seen a few people say its the same (which im assuming means they didnt get a new ID) and ive seen a few with new IDs
