Yeah I remember the whole withdraw form working last year but I haven’t touched it, everything else is extra on top of the ID. ID is surefire indicator b/c as stated like from the start of this thread, why would they bother giving student IDs to tens of thousands of waitlisted and rejected students?

Yeah I feel like we all got too sidetracked and it’s just all the nerves talking. The withdraw form doesn’t mean anything. We’ve already established numerous times that ID = acceptance. Now let’s just wait it out; it literally comes out today!!

Let’s look at it from
A simple math POV:

UCB waitlisted 15K applicants in 2024
Opted in. 9 K applicants
Admitted. 1K Applicants

Why would UCB issue 15K additional IDs to only end up using less than 1K of them.

Class of ‘28 here, ID = Acceptance. Don’t bother with anything else. I was in yalls position last year and I know the anxiety makes you uncertain, sending hugs :blush:

This was my understanding as well. But at school kids were saying some can access withdraw form some can’t and on here there are some saying they didn’t check, which makes you wonder if they are just not wanting to say they can’t access it t trigger spiral.

Yesterday I couldn’t access it today I can so I was just wondering if that could mean waitlisted, but then this data point makes sense

So withdraw form access won’t indicate waitlist? With ID?

Last year the withdraw form was also bugging out a lot. There is a possibility things could have changed and that a withdraw form could mean something else, but if I remember correctly, forbidden + ID was an acceptance.

No one who got a forbidden message didn’t have an id and vice vera.
