Given the timing, a few friends & I saw it removed at the same time (what we believe to be the 2nd wave) but only I was accepted, so I doubt itās an accurate indicator.
No thatās wrong. I got in last month and have all the signs for astrology. Like I said, all my admitted friends also have the positive sign. I do NOT know a single person who was predicted reject/wl who got in. Sorry, itās the hard truth. You may not like to hear it, but take it from me. You should trust people who have been admitted, not people who havenāt.
Yes, this is the type of case where your friends might say itās inaccurate astrology. The truth is, yours was missing way back, but when you guys checked together, it was more likely to be the second wave.
Maybe, but unless those waves happened in rather quick succession, it was the same wave. We were checking pretty often.
Not sure! They probably patched it already for next years admissions cycle since I remember them removing the bar for everyone for a couple of days after the admissions team found out about it. At least itās a win for you! Congrats!!

Yes, true, I mean that the day of or the night before, they would be uploaded. Right now, maybe not.

No, all students I know who got in had the ID. There COULD be an error but like I donāt know anyoneā¦ so far. This is also bc Cal likes to stay on top of things and assigns the ID to admitted students in case they commit. The day after I got admitted, I got directed to create a cal ID and deposit.
Do we know if they upload IDs by category (say, major or residence status or ācollege ofā¦ā or last name, etc.)?
If by major, do we have any EECS applicants who can see an ID?

Isnāt this simple enough to understand? This has been proven for 6 years. Unless everyone gets their ID otherwise no reason to suspect it wonāt work this year.

Is this referring to early admission or is this referring to last year? There are no rejects/wl yet for the current admission season.
We have till wednesday till they finalize everything.
there are still cases of people getting IDs the day before release date, and people that get in but get their Id after
seen a few EECS IDs

Brandon the college consultant on Tik tok posted a video and itās confusing everyone saying if you have an id he has had cases it can change saying it mostly can mean acceptance saying they are still updatingā¦..saying varying things.
Can people please tell me if they know anyone who applied to ATDP who DO NOT have an ID.
hes just saying that for clout. he has no idea whats going on either
