Yes I’m am pretty sure because Berkeley says they only guarantee to consider you for first choice major. They normally only consider you for alternate in waitlist scenarios. At least that’s what I could find out by doing some research on it .

regardless of what number if U get an ID ur most likely in, that debate was over

One of my children couple of years ago got regents for CS at UCSD and also regents at CCS math at UCSB. Got into UCLA and got into some single digits acceptance schools. Yet he was denied at UCB in L&S. You just never know who is reading your essays and if they connect with you.

Nope, I know someone who got in early has 3041 and people Ik who havent yet got in but checked have 3041.
my hs is pretty average not too competitive in the bay area and i’ve asked 5 so far, im the only one with it

so far the conversations im hearing so far I heard nothing about getting an ID. there were 14 people that got berkeley early in my school.
