You get graduation credit with a 3 for AP Psych, 4 or 5 to possibly get subject credit. In most instances you could start at the next Psych class. There are exceptions. For example, if you wanted to be a Data Science Major you cannot use AP Psych to get credit for the lower division domain emphasis for cognitive science or human behavior emphases - college classes need to be taken. But you could probably take 3 upper division classes instead of one lower two upper and in the end the math would work out the same.
