Admissions really is a crapshoot. I never thought I could get into any really prestigious university, including Berkeley. I think someone in admissions must just have really liked me. I would recommend to any other students to do the things you really care about and do them as well as you possibly can. I am really excited for Berkeley next year, to be working in the labs of some of the smartest and highest achieving scientists in the world. Congrats to everyone who got in and GO BEARS!!!
