Well, I got into UCSD for computer science with lacking science and math entirely. I hear that they’ve become more strict and that the major is now impacted as of Fall 2015, but I believe UCSD went purely by my GPA because I only had 1 prerequisite completed and that was a Java course. I had other computer science courses under my belt, but they did not meet the requirements. My counselor was even amazed that I got in and warned me I would be rescinded. I chose not to go and instead waited another year before I tried to transfer again. Anyway, since it does say that it is impacted now, I would try to get as many of the equivalent courses as you can handle without it becoming too stressful. I’m not sure what they value most, but for me it would seem like GPA because calc 1, 2, 3, and two hard science courses would equal 5 pre-req’s that I didn’t complete. I just had the 1.
