How’s Cornell look financially? Realize that Ithaca, while a fine town (one of my best friends is from there), is very different from the city of Chicago, and Cornell is significantly larger than Chicago as well. Cornell is also known for being a (relative) grade deflator, so GPA concerns vs. Chicago/Berkeley are not major.

Have you gotten a chance to visit any of these schools, or will you before deposits are due? (i.e. come to the Chicago overnights next weekend or next next weekend! they’re lots of fun, great way to meet people, and you get to walk around the quads for a couple days just chillin’) Those would be more revealing about ‘fit’ or culture than anything we can describe.

Also, I ran into someone who said that this ([YouTube - Scav 2010 Item 230: Archaeological Datasets](<a href=“Scav 2010 Item 230: Archaeological Datasets - YouTube”>Scav 2010 Item 230: Archaeological Datasets - YouTube)) was what made them want to come to Chicago, so you can see it as a microcosm of our slightly nerdy yet extremely epic campus culture. :)
