<p>I am eligible for the blue and gold plan, but I will still have a large amount of money to pay for total cost of attendance. Can my FAFSA and Cal Grant money be used to cover this or is that aid used to pay for the fees covered by blue and gold?</p>

<p>Cal Grant will part of the Blue and Gold plan. B&G is not a grant, it’s just a promise that you’ll get aid (combo of CG, UC Grants, etc) to cover your UC fees.</p>

<p>There’s no such thing as “FAFSA money”. If you qualify for a Pell Grant, they your UC may use some/all of the Pell Grant towards the B&G promise, or may add it in.</p>

<p>What is your EFC?</p>

<p>You will also be given at least a 5500 student loan and maybe some work study. </p>

<p>Are you a frosh or transfer.</p>
