Thanks!
Hi, I applied to most of the UC schools. Am I able to submit my senior semester grades to any of them? Thanks!!
The UC’s do not accept Mid-year Senior grades unless you received a request to fill out a supplemental/augmented review questionnaire where they may allow you to list Mid-year Senior grades.
UC’s will make their admission decisions on the self-reported information from the UC application. Do not submit unsolicited documentation.
Thanks. I know for Davis you can add your midterm grades I think. Will each UC release a specific date to when they release the applications??
Some campuses will announce when they will post decisions and others do not. Here are the UC Decision dates from 2023. UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara consistently announce their decision dates.

…hhhh
UC’s do not consider demonstrated interest and at this point there is nothing that can be done to increase your chances for admission.
The UC’s do a comprehensive application review however, GPA/Grades/Academic rigor are Very important in their evaluation. PIQ’s and EC’s will help set you apart so good luck and hopefully you can afford to attend in admitted.
Last question. Do you know the acceptance rate for around a 3.6 UC GPA at all of the UC schools for 2027 term?
You should take it in the context of your high school. Here is a great resource. It hasn’t been updated for class of 2027 yet, but probably will be in the next few weeks:
I only have the 2022 (Class of 2026 data) currently. The Class of 2027 data should be out in a few weeks.
2022 Admit rates based on the Capped weighted UC GPA.

Since OP is OOS, their HS most likely will not be listed on the link.
That’s only for California schools. I’m out of state.
nvm
OOS admit rates are listed below with the # of applicants/# of admits and the yield for OOS students. The admit rates are higher for most of the UC campuses since the OOS yield rate (enrolled) is very low mainly due to costs.
| Campus | OUT OF STATE | YIELD |
|---|---|---|
| Berkeley | 8.6% (31309 applicants/2443 admits | 29% |
| Davis | 59.8% (11402 applicants/6913 admits | 8% |

As of last year, only UC Berkeley and UCLA were accepting academic updates as part of their waitlist opt in. The rest of the campuses will only allow you to opt into the waitlist with no further updates.
The waitlist opt in requirements can change every year.
kjj
UCLA allows you to update your grades and there is an additional information section in the waitlist opt in to allow you to update recent accomplishments also.
UC Berkeley allowed applicants to upload grades but had dropped their waitlist essay last year.
So bottom line, the majority of UC’s are going to use the original UC application information to determine wailtist admits.
Has anyone got Berkley MET Interview request for M. Eng ? If yes, when did u receive it ?
Today (Feb. 7) the University of California announced that all nine of its undergraduate campuses will extend their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) deadline for first-year undergraduate students to May 15. UC campuses have made this decision for students and their families impacted by the current delays to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In the case of UC Berkeley only, the new deadline does not yet apply to out-of-state and international first-year undergraduate students, as that campus needs more time to evaluate the situation.
