<p>A California community college applicant who:
has completed 30 semester or 45 quarter UC-transferable units by the end of the summer 2012 term for fall 2013 admission at one or more California community colleges, excluding AP/IB/A-level credit;
has earned a minimum GPA of 3.2 in all UC-transferable coursework by the end of the summer 2012 for fall 2013 admission and will maintain GPA of 3.2 in all UC-transferable coursework for all subsequent terms;
has completed one UC-transferable math course with a grade of C or better by the end of the summer 2012 term;
has completed one UC-transferable English course with a grade of C or better by the end of the summer 2012 term (second UC-transferable English course must be completed by spring 2013);
will complete 60 UC-transferable semester units or 90 UC-transferable quarter units by the end of spring 2013 for fall 2013 admission;
will complete all major coursework for my chosen major including course prerequisites and minimum course GPA by the end of spring 2013 for fall 2013. View course requirements here;</p>

<p>Note: The Department of Cognitive Sciences in the School of Social Sciences offers a major in Psychology, and the School of Biological Sciences offers a major in Neurology. </p>

One year of psychology fundamentals which covers the topics of physiological psychology, sensory perception, social psychology, and personality theory
One course in the introduction of criminology, law and society which examines biological, sociological, and psychological explanations for crime
One course in research design that covers the design of experiments and research studies
One introductory statistics course that includes probability, statistical inference, significance testing, univariate descriptive statistics, and multivariate analysis"</p>
