I’m pretty sad, UCI was my dream school and I really wanted to get away from the East coast… I regret not applying to other schools in the area lol.
One of my thoughts behind this is that I was rejected for not taking an art class. A lot of my application revolved around my involvement with AFJROTC to make up for the fact that I had no space for an arts class in my schedule. My admissions counselor did sent me a message through my portal and I explained my situation. In AFJROTC I participated in countless Drill and Ceremony competitions, so I brought it up in hopes to count as a performing art.
My friend, (who also did not take an art class) got accepted into UCD a few days ago so I’m not really sure. BUT, his admissions counselor never messaged him about this problem. He applied to UCD, UCSD, UCLA, and Cal.
AHHH can’t wrap my brain around this. Good luck to everyone else. <3
