@9pmerchdude I got waitlisted at UCSD for Mathematics. Same with UCI but i still haven’t heard anything. 
I feel like this is the end =/ GL to everyone with whichever school you decide to attend
I just got into UCI but I have some called Freshman conditions that mention stuff like maintaining a 3.0 GPA and sending in standardized testing scores and stuff. Is that normal?
Welp I’m thinking its gonna be like ucsd where at first they accepted people and then the next batches they reject and waitlist everyone
I saw one person on Twitter that got rejected from UCI but then again I don’t really know if they are doing waves of acceptances than rejects lets just hope it’s all random and we still have a chance

@9pmerchdude sadly I dont have it rn but I genuinely saw it and it seems legitimate cause the person was pretty devistated by it I think it if you search UCI reject you might find it though
@sowuxd: All UC’s give a provisional admission contract to all accepted applicants. Most require a UC GPA weighted GPA of 3.0 your Senior year. If they are asking for test scores, then I assume you did not send all required scores are required for the UC’s? You are also required to send your final transcripts upon graduation.

Ah I see… thanks for the reply! I’m an OOS applicant from NY, so my understanding of the UC system is mediocre at best. I have yet to send my SAT IIs and my AP exam scores. (I assume this is what they meant by standardized testing).

@sowuxd: You should send in the SAT II test scores now but the AP scores should be sent after the exams in May. You can designate UCI as your school choice on the exam form and all scores will be automatically sent.
UCI accepted, New York resident, was quite surprise but I heard that UCI select people by lottery, is it true?I wish that’s not the fact. And yet, waitlisted by San diego, and rejected by LA. Anyway, congratz for those of you who get in. And best of luck for those who are still waiting for the result!
