Kind of still shocked I got waitlisted (no offense, in case it causes any). 4.2 UC and 2170 (3.88 UW) for neuro. Is neuroscience a really competitive major at UCI?
@jackisawesome Don’t think it was your major bro. I know a lot of people with those stats who were waitlisted. Admissions this year were questionable.
Son is also waiting on CPP, UCR and UCI. They are some of the top schools he applied to (3.3 UC GPA, 24 ACT). He applied for CS and received a Supplemental for UCI. So far he’s been accepted for CS to CSUF, Chico, ASU and U of A, and waitlisted for UCSC.
I was accepted to Pomona a couple weeks ago and received an email.

Should I be worried if I haven’t gotten any response from UCI yet? I’ve been already rejected from UCSB, UCLA, UCSD but accepted with merit scholarships to UCR.

Here are some stats regarding the wait list for all UC’s. Don’t be stressed out. A majority of people wait listed got in last year. I got wait listed and so have a lot of other people with a undeclared major. Some of my friends still haven’t gotten a response whether they got wait listed, rejected, or accepted. I still haven’t heard either. 
I hear from cal today and I’m preparing for a rejection. I applied for CS major for both schools. Rejected from sb and ucla. Just checked my message center and nada
You have to keep in mind that numbers can change drastically from year to year. It’s random, gotta be optimistic. (on the same boat as you btw)
