kind of annoying that you hear the pattern, in state, out of state, international, waitlist & rejection and yet admissions says not true it’s random? hardly looks random to me if you follow the thread!
Will they send out rejections all at once ?
@selena98 I think? I mean I heard they sent out batches so probably some today and some tomorrow. They’ll probably continue like that until the 31st.

a final word:
thank you all for being here for each other while we waited for our decisions. to anyone that was accepted: congratulations! i hope for the best throughout your college career and in life. make the most of it.
to anyone that was rejected: as one of my good friends who got accepted to ucb said, “it doesn’t matter where you start, it only matters where you graduate.”
personally, i’m going to go to community college for two years and transfer. on the bright side, this is going to save me $15k+ PER YEAR while i do my gen. eds, so that’s comforting to know. uci has been my dream school for the past year, so this is a bit of a crushing blow. even worse, i was rejected (not even waitlisted) from every UC i applied to.
however, i will not let an admissions officer (who doesn’t even know me) define my future, and i will not let some numbers determined in high school define my potential.
accepted, rejected, or waitlisted, all of you are passionate people with an extremely bright future. we all have the potential to change the world (for the better) someday, and i hope we can achieve that.
Rejected… Thanks for making me wait all month for a rejection uci /,:… Bitter af. Lol good luck to everyone else … Sea yall at UCSC !! (,:
