People keep on blaming the school as a whole for their slowness of releasing decisions, but in reality you’re only speaking about the office of admissions. Blame them, not the entire school.
dang, I still have not gotten anything. hopefully this means I’m a second wave of acceptances or waitlists…?
are they releasing in alphabetical order or something? or is it random?
oh and BTW i am a CS major and still waiting. I just really hope im in the wave of second acceptances. So if today is rejections im happy with a no new messages message.

I think you’re right @ms13intern. If we all just accept that we are going to get rejected, then the anxiety will end. Sometimes pessimism is the best option.
@BrightOasis sorry to possibly burst your bubble, but i do not believe that will help as they will not recognize your son by name. But honestly your son may still be admitted as UCI probably has a long list for waitl

Ofc if it was like last year all of us would be just waiting for rejections but it clearly has not been so anything can happen!! AOs said there are still acceptances rolling and we still got couple more days left! And remember, not enough people got accepted on friday…

hey y’all just got rejected whoop whoop! 1340 sat, 4.4 UC GPA, red cross club president for 2 years, national honors, csf, and a bunch of other school leadership activities! WOW just depressed. waitlisted at UCSD, uchicago, ucsb!! accepted in ucsc and ucr. i don’t understand y’all.

Very painful how slowly UCI draws out these decisions. I give kudos to UCD, UCSB, UCSC, UCLA for rolling them out all at once, all on the portal one way or another. Don’t understand how UCI cannot get the technology and the administration to figure it out.
@anxiousparent101 bio but they accept to school first then to major… so she might get undeclared/alternate major if she doesn’t get accepted to bio good luck
